Softball Recap: Johnson Starts off Right with Win over Bradshaw Christian

Johnson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Bradshaw Christian Pride. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 14-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Johnson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sadie Kirkland, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Johnson will have a chance to go back-to-back against Bradshaw Christian: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
