Baseball Game Preview: Napoleon Pirates vs. Dundee Vikings

The Napoleon Pirates will venture away from home to take on the Dundee Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Dundee took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Napoleon, who comes in off a win.

While Napoleon's victory against East Jackson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Pirates skirted past the Trojans 5-3. The win was nothing new for the Pirates as they're now sitting on three straight.

Meanwhile, Dundee didn't have quite enough to beat Jefferson on Saturday and fell 8-7.

Cam Fairchild was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three RBI and one triple. Another player making a difference was Ben Sanders, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run.

Napoleon's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Dundee, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.
