Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newark Tech). Everything went their way against Golda Och Academy on Thursday as they made off with a 24-1 win. Considering the Terries have won five games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Newark Tech has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Golda Och Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.

Coming up, Newark Tech will look to defend their home field on Monday against East Orange Campus at 4:00 p.m. The Jaguars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14 runs per game on average), something the Terries will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Golda Och Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Payne Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Golda Och Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
