NCSSM: Durham had lost 18 games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 2-11 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They skirted past the Neuse Charter Cougars 6-4. The Unicorns have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

NCSSM: Durham let Griffin Lamphier (Capt) and Tate Tucker run wild. Lamphier (Capt) got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs, while Tucker went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Those two runs gave Lamphier (Capt) a new career-high.

As for Neuse Charter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat they have suffered since April 12, 2024.
