Basketball Recap: Greensburg Salem Takes a Loss

Greensburg Salem lost against Derry back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Greensburg Salem Golden Lions took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Derry Trojans. The Golden Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greensburg Salem's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Derry, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

When Greensburg Salem and Derry next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Greensburg Salem will try to stop Elizabeth Forward's five-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Derry will square off against Belle Vernon and their five-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
