Volleyball Recap: Linn Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Linn was the 2-1 winner over Centralia when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19.

Gretchen Bott paced Linn's offense, picking up seven kills. Bott got some help from Sophia Hiltgen and her six assists. Bott was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Linn's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5. As for Centralia, their win bumped their record up to 19-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Linn is set to challenge their familiar foe Washington County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Centralia will take on rival Hanover on Tuesday.
