It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Richardson ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They secured a 21-15 W over the Lake Highlands Wildcats. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Richardson had a senior duo take command as Lucas Sawyer threw for 233 yards and one TD and Jayden Hernandez picked up 150 receiving yards.

Richardson's record is now 6-3. As for Lake Highlands, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 7-2 record.
