Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Summit Shasta). They blew past The Nueva School Mavericks 92-21 on Tuesday. The Black Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 25 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Summit Shasta's sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.8 points per game. As for The Nueva School, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summit Shasta will square off against Basis Independent Silicon Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Basis Independent Silicon Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 contests -- so hopefully Summit Shasta likes a good challenge. As for The Nueva School, they will take on University Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. University Prep Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
