Basketball Recap: Farah Stuebs Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Campbellsport

It's playoff time, and Lakeside Lutheran had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Campbellsport Cougars with a sharp 53-32 win on Tuesday. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Cougars are ranked 350th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lakeside Lutheran's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Farah Stuebs, who en route to 14 points and eight boards. Paige Murphy was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds.

Lakeside Lutheran is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. Campbellsport has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 15 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season.

Lakeside Lutheran will face off against Lake Country Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Country Lutheran has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 211 points over their last three matches. Campbellsport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
