Volleyball Recap: Johnsburg Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Johnsburg had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Plano Reapers by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Johnsburg was: they took both sets by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-9.

Kaia Sasak paced Johnsburg's offense, picking up eight kills. Sasak got some help from Adelaide Bruns and her 11 assists. Bruns was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Johnsburg's win bumped their record up to 18-13. As for Plano, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-20.

Looking ahead, Johnsburg will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Lutheran at 11:00 a.m. As for Plano, they will head out to square off against Parkview Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
