Florence-Carlton put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Troy Trojans get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The 12-run effort marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Florence-Carlton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Troy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

The future could be bright for both Florence-Carlton and Troy: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Falcons will look to extend Lincoln County's three-game losing streak when they meet at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Troy will try to hand Plains-Hot Springs their fourth-straight loss when the two meet at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
