Baseball Game Preview: Fraser Ramblers vs. Marysville Vikings

For the second straight game, Fraser will face off against Marysville. The Ramblers will welcome the Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Fraser was handed a seven-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Marysville 6-5. The game was the first time the Ramblers have beaten the Vikings on their field since April 29, 2022.

Fraser got a great performance from Chris Parada as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up five earned runs off six hits. Those seven strikeouts gave Parada a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Jack Manzella was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Camden Townsend, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Fraser's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-9. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Marysville, they moved to 3-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
