Volleyball Game Preview: Arbor View Aggies vs. Palo Verde Panthers

The Arbor View Aggies will head out to challenge the Palo Verde Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arbor View will be strutting in after a win while Palo Verde will be coming in after a loss.

Arbor View is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Silverado, who was ranked 24th at the time (Arbor View was ranked sixth). The Aggies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Skyhawks on Wednesday. The Aggies haven't had any issues with the Skyhawks recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-20.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Palo Verde took on West Ranch on Friday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Arbor View's win bumped their record up to 17-15. As for Palo Verde, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Everything went Arbor View's way against Palo Verde when the teams last played on April 1st, as Arbor View made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aggies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
