Basketball Recap: Milbank Skates Past Webster with Ease

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Milbank had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the Webster Bearcats, posting a 63-28 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Milbank's third in a row) raised their record to 13-8. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points over those games. As for Webster, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Looking ahead, Milbank will square off against Roncalli on Thursday. One thing working in Roncalli's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. Webster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
