Volleyball Recap: Joplin Comes Up Short

Joplin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Belton Pirates. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Joplin's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Belton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Joplin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Rogers Heritage on the 27th. As for Belton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Claremore on the 27th.
