It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but American Heritage had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks by a score of 6-2. The win was familiar territory for the Patriots, who have now won eight games in a row.

Bria Villano was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrianna Layne, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

American Heritage was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Archbishop McCarthy only posted a batting average of .250.

American Heritage's record now sits at 19-2. As for Archbishop McCarthy, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

As of now, neither American Heritage nor the Mavericks have any future games scheduled.
