Basketball Recap: Wiggins Comes Up Short

Wiggins played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 50-29 to the Platte Valley Broncos. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Platte Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Regan Edstrom out in front who posted ten points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. Edstrom has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Talyn Short, who to rack up 13 points.

Wiggins has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. Platte Valley's record now sits at 6-16.

As of now, neither Wiggins nor Platte Valley have any future games scheduled.
