Ambridge got their first taste of in-conference action on Wednesday and they started things off strong. Everything went their way against the Hopewell Vikings as they made off with a 6-0 win. Ambridge's winning goal came courtesy of Mikalah Wetzel.

The victory snapped Ambridge's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-5 record. As for Hopewell, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ambridge will host Quaker Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hopewell, they will welcome California at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
