Baseball Recap: Lake Quinault Has No Trouble Against Mary M. Knight

Lake Quinault won the last time they faced Mary M. Knight and things went their way on Thursday too. The Elks were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Owls. The result was nothing new for the Elks, who have now won five matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Lake Quinault and bumps their season record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for Mary M. Knight, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coincidentally, Lake Quinault and Mary M. Knight will both be playing Wishkah Valley the next time they take the field. The Elks will host the Loggers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Owls will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
