Union Hill won the last time they faced Leverett's Chapel and Ej Mowery did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bulldogs claimed a resounding 53-0 victory over the Lions thanks in part to Mowery, who threw for 156 yards and four touchdowns on only nine passes, and also rushed for 73 yards and a pair of TDs. He has become a key player for Union Hill: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

The win (which was Union Hill's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.0 points on average over those games. As for Leverett's Chapel, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Union Hill wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 52-0 win against Campbell on the 16th. As for Leverett's Chapel, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 70-24 victory against Savoy on the 17th.
