Baseball Recap: Big Walnut Wins Going Away Against Jackson

Big Walnut lost to Jackson on Saturday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. Big Walnut was the clear victor by a 14-4 margin over Jackson.

Jake Neff was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run and five RBI. Another player making a difference was Ethan Baker, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

The win got Big Walnut back to even at 1-1. As for Jackson, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Big Walnut will look to defend their home field on Monday against River Valley at 5:00 p.m. As for Jackson, they will head out on the road to take on Green at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Jackson their first taste of in-conference action this season.
