Sunnyslope won the last time they faced Valley Vista and things went their way on Thursday too. The Vikings blew past the Monsoon 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sunnyslope took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-12.

Sunnyslope's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emma Easton led the charge by getting ten digs and four assists. Another player making a difference was Jaelyn Simmons, who had 18 assists and five digs.
