Basketball Recap: Westmoreland Takes a Loss

Westmoreland was the 44-31 winner over Essex when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Westmoreland Eagles fell to the Essex Trojans 42-38. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Westmoreland's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Essex, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.

While Westmoreland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
