Basketball Game Preview: Crete-Monee Warriors vs. Bloom Blazing Trojan

The Crete-Monee Warriors will take on the Bloom Blazing Trojan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Crete-Monee is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Thornton Fractional South just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 54-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Wolves.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 22-22 at halftime, Bloom was not quite Kankakee's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell just short of the Kays by a score of 58-55. The Blazing Trojan have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crete-Monee's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Bloom, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Things could have been worse for Crete-Monee, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-42 loss to Bloom when the teams last played back in February. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bloom's Kamryn Turner, who posted 21 points and four steals. Now that Crete-Monee knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
