Soccer Recap: Leesburg Takes a Loss

Leesburg lost against West Port back in December of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Leesburg Yellow Jackets took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Port Wolf Pack.

Leesburg has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9-1 record this season. As for West Port, their win bumped their record up to 5-7-1.

Leesburg will face off against Springstead at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Port, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against North Marion on the 7th.
