Basketball Game Preview: Colo-NESCO Royals vs. Paton-Churdan Rockets

The Colo-NESCO Royals will head out to square off against the Paton-Churdan Rockets at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, Colo-NESCO blew past BCLUW, posting a 60-30 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royals.

Meanwhile, Paton-Churdan can finally bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 64-41 margin over West Harrison. The Rockets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Colo-NESCO has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Paton-Churdan, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Colo-NESCO against Paton-Churdan in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, as the squad secured a 78-40 win. Does Colo-NESCO have another victory up their sleeve, or will Paton-Churdan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
