Who's up and who's down

Game of Inches

The title of the most exciting match of the week goes to the clash between Aquinas and Scotus. Aquinas won a game that couldn't get any closer, slipping by Scotus 17 - 16. Nevertheless, Aquinas did not have enough punch to impress the power rankings algorithm and tumbled six spots in the rankings.

After a challenging last week, Kearney Catholic now finds itself down 11 power ranking positions. No one has a better right to be disappointed since that was the biggest drop of the week. It was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as it fell 39 - 33 to Garden Plain. The team got a solid performance out of senior Matt Masker (he threw for 373 yards); unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.
