MaxPreps National High School Volleyball Record Book: Michigan, Texas players move into top 10 for kills

Navea Gauthier of Shelby (Mich.) now No. 3 all-time in kills while Aizlyn Dewberry of Wink (Texas) is No. 8.

Navea Gauthier of Shelby (Mich.) and Aizlyn Dewberry of Wink (Texas) were two of the newest entries into the MaxPreps National High School Volleyball Record Book with both finishing among the top 10 in career kills.

The MaxPreps volleyball record book has been updated to include the latest additions for single season and career record holders in blocks, aces, kills and assists. Single-game additions will be included in a later update.

Gauthier moved to No. 3 in all-time kills with 3,520 behind leader Kryssi Daniels of Winston County (Double Springs, Ala.) with 4,019 and Alisha Glass of Leland (Mich.) with 3,584.

The Shelby standout also made the single-season kills list for the third time. Her 905 kills this year ranks No. 41 overall. She also had 1,034 kills as a junior (sixth all-time) and 987 kills as a sophomore (13th all-time).

Also making the top 10 in career kills is Dewberry with 3,049. Her total ranks No. 2 in Texas behind Brooklyn Jaeger of Fayetteville, who had 3,133. Dewberry's total ranks No. 8 all-time.

Others making the career kills list include Sophia Schweikert of Upper Merion Area (King of Prussia, Pa.) with 2,714 kills, Lauren Hurst of Cleveland (Tenn.) with 2,607, Raylee Stenzel of Mountain Grove (Mo.) with 2,337, Addison Budke of Beloit (Kan.) with 2,302 and Caleigh Ponn of Hidden Valley (Roanoke, Va.) with 2,285.

Chloe May of Central (Florence, Ala.) finished 12th in career assists with 5,488. Fellow Alabamans on the list include Riley Lovell of Bob Jones (Madison, Ala.) with 5,107 and Addi Vinson of Montgomery Academy (Montgomery, Ala.) with 5,025.



May also finished with 569 career aces, which placed her at 24th all-time. Nathalie Tsai of Chamblee (Ga.) is the only player from the Class of 2025 to place higher, finishing her career at No. 12 with 623 career aces.

For single-season aces, Crystal Pon of New York School for the Deaf (White Plains, N.Y.) finished No. 2 all-time with 282. The national record is 296 by Alisha Glass. Gianna Williams of the Ohio School for the Deaf (Columbus, Ohio) finished No. 4 all-time with 264 aces this year.

Chloe Tuiasosopo of Copperas Cove (Texas) finished her career with 822 blocks to finish No. 11 all-time. She also made the single-season list at No. 69 all-time with 284 blocks.
