Softball Recap: Eastern Hancock Takes a Loss

Eastern Hancock was the 4-0 winner over Hagerstown when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Royals fell 6-1 to the Tigers on Saturday. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eastern Hancock saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Wittgren, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Eastern Hancock's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Hagerstown, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Eastern Hancock will be taking part in a tournament against Connersville at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hagerstown, they will take on Cambridge City Lincoln at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
