Basketball Game Preview: Sheboygan Christian Eagles vs. Kohler Blue Bombers

Sheboygan Christian hasn't had much luck against Kohler recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Sheboygan Christian Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Kohler Blue Bombers at 7:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

While Sheboygan Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Ozaukee by a score of 57-46 on Monday.

Meanwhile, Kohler came tearing into Thursday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Crusaders, sneaking past 65-63. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Blue Bombers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Crusaders are ranked 35th).

Sheboygan Christian is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Kohler, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Sheboygan Christian might still be hurting after the 67-47 defeat they got from Kohler in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Sheboygan Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
