Baseball Preview: Canterbury School Saints vs. Kent School Lions

With that win, Canterbury School brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Myles Gythfeldt was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Gythfeldt was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other pitching news, Canterbury School got a great performance from Andrew Rondini as he struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Rondini has been consistent recently: he hasn't pitched less than five innings every time he's pitched this season.

Back at the plate, Cole Silvia was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs, a triple, and an RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Heagle, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
