The Maryland squad, which plays an independent schedule featuring teams across the country, posted 30 unanswered points after falling behind 7-0 to cruise to its first victory of the season.
The win was also the program's first against a New Jersey squad. It entered with an 0-3 record all time against foes from the Garden State.
