Eastern Christian Academy stuns No. 22 Paramus Catholic 42-20

Eastern Christian Academy (Elkton, Md.) notched a statement victory on Friday night, rolling over No. 22 Paramus Catholic (Paramus, N.J.) 42-20.

The Maryland squad, which plays an independent schedule featuring teams across the country, posted 30 unanswered points after falling behind 7-0 to cruise to its first victory of the season.

The win was also the program's first against a New Jersey squad. It entered with an 0-3 record all time against foes from the Garden State.

Paramus Catholic, which boasts the nation's No. 1 recruit Rashan Gary, struggled to find a rhythm offensively. Quarterback Allen Walters was intercepted four times.

Eastern Christian Academy will look to build on arguably its most impressive win when it takes on Gilman next week.
