Soccer Game Preview: Granby vs. Tabb

The Granby Comets will take on the Tabb Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Granby will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Granby played against Norcom on Wednesday and won via forfeit.

Tabb's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over Smithfield. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Tabb's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 16th, while Smithfield are ranked 80th).

Tabb's one-goal win came courtesy of Katelyn Robertson, which was the first she's scored this season.

Granby's win bumped their record up to 5-2-1. As for Tabb, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0-1.
