Softball Recap: Alton Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Alton's offense. They came up short against the Willow Springs Bears on Tuesday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Comets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Alton now has a losing record of 1-2. Willow Springs has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alton will challenge Norwood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Willow Springs, they will venture away from home to challenge Licking at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
