Soccer Game Preview: Chapin vs. Andress

The Chapin Huskies will take on the Andress Eagles at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Andress better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Chapin really gets things going. Everything went Chapin's way against Canutillo on Wednesday as Chapin made off with a 5-1 win. Considering the Huskies have won ten games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Andress, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Andress who was credited with the victory on Wednesday. Andress got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Burges' three.

Chapin is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those seven contests. The win got Andress back to even at 8-8.

Everything went Chapin's way against Andress in their previous matchup on February 8th, as Chapin made off with a 6-0 victory. Will Chapin repeat their success, or does Andress have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
