District 10 Region 2 A recap October 22, 2013

Youngsville fell to Cochranton 52-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

The Cardinals' dynamic duo of Chad Eisenhooth and Jesse Staudt proved to be unstoppable against the Eagles, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Eisenhooth threw for 126 yards and 3 touchdowns and Staudt had 65 yards receiving. Garrett Adams helped Cochranton's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 47 yards.

Joseph Swanson provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Mercyhurst Prep topped Iroquois. Swanson's favorite target this week was Swanson, who caught 2 passes for 12 yards.

5-foot-8 quarterback Rob Wilston of Eisenhower is the league leader in passing yards this season with 863. He has also thrown 11 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Adams. The Cochranton star has 16 catches for 307 yards.

Baer Eric of the the Lakers is just 98 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 129 carries Eric has put up 902 yards this year.

The Devils are in second place, while Mercyhurst Prep is in fifth place.

Cochranton led District 10 Region 2 A in scoring this week after putting up 52 points on Youngsville. Eisenhooth in the win.
