Softball Game Preview: Trinity Bulldogs vs. Eastern Randolph Wildcats

Trinity hasn't had much luck against Eastern Randolph recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Trinity is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 20 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Randleman on Friday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 19-1.

Trinity saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jessica Ann Huneycutt, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Meanwhile, Eastern Randolph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to Uwharrie Charter Academy.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Eastern Randolph, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-16.
