Recap: Greenville Tigers vs. Carroll Eagles
The Greenville Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 69-44 walloping at the hands of Carroll. Greenville has not had much luck with Carroll recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Carroll got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dezmon Pruitt out in front who scored nine points along with eight assists and four steals. Pruitt continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lakeith Person, who scored 13 points.
Greenville has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Carroll, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Greenville will take on Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carroll, they will head out on the road to face off against Charles Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Charles Henderson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 217th, while Carroll is ranked 62nd).
