Lakota East piles up the points against Sycamore

Recap: Lakota East Thunderhawks vs. Sycamore Aviators
The Lakota East Thunderhawks had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sycamore 64-15 at home. With that victory, Lakota East brought their scoring average up to 51.3 points per game.
It was another big night for Brooke Asher, who went 8 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points and 0 assists. Those 30 points set a new season-high mark for her. Katlyn Pham was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven assists.
Lakota East's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-4. As for Sycamore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakota East will be home for the holidays to greet Middletown at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Middletown has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Sycamore will be home for the holidays to greet Oak Hills at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Oak Hills is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
