Football Game Preview: Frederic Vikings vs. Prairie Farm Panthers

The Frederic Vikings will venture away from home to challenge the Prairie Farm Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Frederic will be strutting in after a win while Prairie Farm will be coming in after a loss.

Frederic will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Luck, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. The Vikings blew past the Cardinals, posting a 51-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won three games by 35 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Prairie Farm had to suffer through a 50-20 loss at the hands of Clayton.

The win made it two in a row for Frederic and bumps their season record up to 3-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points in those games. As for Prairie Farm, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Everything came up roses for Frederic against Prairie Farm when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 38-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
