After flying high against Boyd Anderson on Thursday, Coral Springs came back down to earth. The Colts fell just short of the Nova Titans by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Colts' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Coral Springs ultimately came up short, they really made Nova work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-16, 25-27, 23-25, 15-8.

Joel Jobi paced Coral Springs' offense, picking up 28 kills. Jobi got some help from Mickinson Jean-Mary and his 35 assists. Finally, Jean-Mary was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Coral Springs' loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Nova, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Coral Springs will head out to face off against Stoneman Douglas at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nova, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Western at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight.
