Soccer Recap: Buffalo Gap Takes a Loss

Buffalo Gap was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets. While losing is never fun, Buffalo Gap can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 251st, while Wilson Memorial are ranked 28th).

Buffalo Gap's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Wilson Memorial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Buffalo Gap will take on rival Waynesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wilson Memorial is set to challenge their familiar foe Fort Defiance at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
