Basketball Recap: Mangham Takes a Loss

Mangham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 58-36 to the Ferriday Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Trojans are ranked 120th).

Mangham's defeat dropped their record down to 11-20. As for Ferriday, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-11 record this season.

Mangham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ferriday, they are taking a road trip to challenge General Trass at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ferriday is facing General Trass at the right time seeing as General Trass is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
