Volleyball Game Preview: Eastbrook Panthers vs. Oak Hill Golden Eagles

The Eastbrook Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Oak Hill Golden Eagles on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, it was close, but Eastbrook sidestepped Blackford for a 3-2 win.

Eastbrook was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (103-102), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 22-25, 12-25, 18-16.

Meanwhile, Oak Hill came tearing into Thursday's contest with 13 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Bruins 3-0.

Oak Hill's got stronger as the match went on, holding Blackford to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-13, 25-8.

The victory got Eastbrook back to even at 13-13. As for Oak Hill, their win bumped their record up to 20-8.

Eastbrook suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Oak Hill in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
