Hernando came out on top against Central on Friday thanks in part to Michael Saltsman's efforts. Saltsman rushed for eight yards and two TDs. The performance marked the most rushing touchdowns he has had since back in October of 2024.

Saltsman and Hernando will host Pasco at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Leopards got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Pirates thanks in part to Saltsman: he rushed for 32 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 118 yards while completing 77.8% of his passes.
