It was a good run, but Tri-County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green Bay Preble Hornets.

Tri-County was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly three points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22.

Among those leading the charge was Sierra Krahn, who had 11 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six games. Katelyn Smith also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Tri-County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Green Bay Preble, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Tri-County has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Rio on the 13th. As for Green Bay Preble, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Markesan on the 12th.
