Berkeley Prep waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Tampa Prep Terrapins. That's more bragging rights for the Buccaneers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Parker Mitzel was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over 5.2 innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Josh Herrmann, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was JD Haughey, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.
