Basketball Recap: Leipsic Takes a Loss

Leipsic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 60-26 loss at the hands of the Liberty-Benton Eagles. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-7.

Leipsic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Liberty-Benton, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leipsic won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Miller City at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Liberty-Benton, they and Wapakoneta will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
