Basketball Game Preview: Klondike Cougars vs. Dawson Dragons

Klondike has gone a perfect 10-0 against Dawson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cougars will venture away from home to challenge the Dragons at 6:15 p.m.

Klondike is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Borden County just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 64-43 to the Coyotes. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since December 26, 2024.

Dawson played against Loop on Tuesday and won via forfeit.

The victory snapped Dawson's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-16 record. As for Klondike, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-7.

Klondike strolled past Dawson in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a score of 44-26. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
