Baseball Recap: Helena Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Chelsea

Helena faced Chelsea in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Huskies might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-2 to the Hornets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Helena's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 14-10. As for Chelsea, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Chelsea beat Helena by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday.
